01
What is an SEO audit?
+
An SEO audit is a full check of everything that decides where your business shows up on Google: whether Google can read your website, what each page says, how your Google Maps listing is set up, who links to you, and what the businesses ranked above you do differently. A good one ends with a short list of what to fix first.
02
What do SEO audit services include?
+
Ours check seven places: the technical side of your site, your pages and content, your Google Maps listing, your links, your competitors, what AI tools say about you, and your tracking. You get one fix list ranked by impact, and then we make the fixes and confirm each one in Google Search Console, Google's free report on how your site is doing.
03
How much does an SEO audit cost?
+
The first look is free: a 30-minute strategy call or an SEO second opinion. The full audit and the fixes are part of every plan, usually $1,497 to $5,000 a month for Google Maps, the normal Google results, or both. Several websites usually start at $5,000 a month.
04
Is there a free SEO audit?
+
The free strategy call is the closest thing: 30 minutes on Google Meet where we search your best jobs live and show you what is holding you back. If you already pay for SEO, the free SEO second opinion looks at your progress and what should come next. The free Google visibility check is a quick look you can run yourself.
05
What's the difference between a free audit tool and a real SEO audit?
+
A tool gives you a list of warnings, all weighted the same. An audit adds the judgement: it looks at your competitors, your Google Maps listing and what you sell, decides which few problems are actually costing you calls, and puts them in order. Then someone has to fix them.
06
How long does an SEO audit take?
+
The first findings usually come quickly, because the problems that hurt most tend to be the easiest to spot. The full fix list follows once we have been through every page, your rankings and the competitors above you. Bigger sites take longer.
07
What do I get at the end?
+
One fix list in plain words, most important first. Each line says what is wrong, why it costs you, how big the fix is and who does it. We walk you through it on a call. Then we start fixing, and your monthly report shows what moved.
08
Do you fix the problems or just report them?
+
Both. You get a ranked list of what to fix first. Then we fix it ourselves or work with your developers, and confirm each fix in Google Search Console.
09
How often should a website be audited?
+
Every six months at least, and quarterly for large or fast-changing sites. After a redesign, migration or platform change, right away. While we work together, we keep checking every month.
10
My traffic dropped. Can an audit find out why?
+
Usually, yes. A sudden drop most often comes from something that changed: a redesign, a new plugin, pages that went missing, old links that broke, or a Google update that favoured someone else's pages. We compare before and after in Search Console to find what changed and when.
11
Do you audit Google Maps and my Google Business Profile?
+
Yes. For a local business the Maps listing often brings more calls than the website. We check your categories, services, service areas, photos, reviews and business details against the businesses ranked first, and map where you rank street by street across the area you serve.
12
Does the audit look at my competitors?
+
Yes. Rankings are relative, so we audit the businesses ranked first for your money searches: their pages, their listings, their reviews and their links. What they have that you don't is often the fastest way up.
13
Do you check what ChatGPT and Google's AI say about us?
+
Yes. We check what ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews say when asked for a business like yours where you work, which sites they quote, and whether your pages give them a clear answer. Getting named there is included in every plan at no extra cost.
14
Do you need access to my website?
+
To audit, read access to Google Search Console, Google Analytics and your Google Business Profile is enough. To make fixes, we need edit access to the site or we work alongside your developer. You stay the owner of every account.
15
Will the audit break anything on my site?
+
No. Looking changes nothing. Nothing on your site changes until we agree on the fix list, and each fix is checked after it goes live.
16
We already have an SEO agency. Can you audit their work?
+
Yes. That is what the free SEO second opinion is for. Bring your latest report if you have one. We look at the progress, what is still unclear and what should come next, and if it makes sense we talk about working together.
17
Will an audit improve my rankings on its own?
+
No. An audit only tells you what is wrong. Rankings move when the fixes go live. That is why ours comes with the fixes and two guarantees: visible improvement in your key metrics within 20 days or your payment back plus $200, and your qualifying keywords on page one of Google within 60 days or we keep working for free until they are.
18
How fast will I see results after the fixes?
+
Some fixes, like a page blocked from Google by mistake, can show within days of Google's next visit. Page changes usually take a few weeks, and links take longer. Fixes behind the scenes tend to show first, because Google only has to look at the page again.
19
Am I locked into a long contract?
+
No. Month to month, no long-term contracts.
20
Who are your SEO audit services for?
+
Established businesses in Canada and the US doing $20,000 a month or more, with a service people already search for. We take on 15 new clients a month, so every one of them gets the work done properly.
